I must say that Dr. Prankul Singhal is one of the best spine surgeons in the NCR region. His ability to identify and address the root cause of the problem is truly exceptional. My recovery has been smooth, and his confidence and expertise throughout the treatment were remarkable.
I highly recommend consulting Dr. Prankul Singhal if you are experiencing any spine or brain-related issues. It is always better to seek the right expert at the right time rather than worsening the condition by visiting multiple hospitals.

“From Conscious and Talking to a Life-Threatening Condition — We Lost Our Mother😭”
I am sharing my personal experience so other families can take informed decisions.
My mother was admitted with a head injury. Initially, CT scans showed swelling and clotting. We were informed that surgery would be required only if the swelling increased. A subsequent CT showed no increase, and we were repeatedly told that she was improving and might be shifted to the ward soon.
However, despite her persistent complaints of headache and confusion, no MRI or repeat CT was done for several days. On 23 November, her condition suddenly deteriorated, and emergency surgery was performed.
After surgery, we were informed that the CT was actually improved compared to earlier scans, yet surgery was carried out due to her sudden unconsciousness. As a family, this left us with many unanswered questions regarding monitoring, timely imaging, and clinical decision-making.
Communication felt inconsistent, and we did not receive clear explanations during critical moments. Ultimately, we lost our mother.
This review reflects our personal experience and deep disappointment. I sincerely hope that better transparency, closer monitoring, and clearer communication are ensured for future patients and their families.
“Clarification to Dr. Prankul Singhal’s Reply”:
We would like to respectfully clarify a few points based on our experience.
Our mother did complain of headache during her stay. She informed the ICU support staff/compounders, and this was also communicated by my father to the medical team. Each time, we were told that head-injury–related headache is expected, that medicines for the head were already being given, and that it would take time to settle. Similar reassurance was given by the attending staff when she complained.
As attendants, we trusted the treating team’s assessment and guidance. We are not medical professionals, and it was not possible for us to judge what was happening internally in the brain. Since treatment was ongoing for head injury, we relied on the team to decide if further imaging or intervention was required.
She was admitted on the evening of 19 November and appeared stable on 20, 21, and 22 November. We gave sufficient time and trusted the team to identify and manage any negative progression. During this period, monitoring was primarily through CT scans; no MRI was done.
Our concern is not about blaming individuals but about the gap between repeated reassurances of stability and the sudden critical deterioration. This naturally left us with questions regarding monitoring, escalation, and communication.
This review reflects our lived experience as a family who lost their mother. It is shared with the intention of expressing our perspective, not to spread false information.
